Hello! I have several problems with using KDE 5. First, at Dolphin does not work drag-n-drop files in chromium. Second, rolled in a tray browser is not disclosed, if you drag a file from krusader, doublecmd etc. Dolphin expands the browser from the tray, it is good. Third kde 5 extremely stable plasma falls often not clear on that, and the window jump. Glitches are very strange, for example, does not appear in the applications menu, a new application to reenter the system. Also, odd working octopi and konsole (after installation in octopi by the terminal), Konsole takes 80 MB of memory, 13% cpu, slows down and does not display the contents of the window. In different systems kde 5 behaves differently (arch, antergos, manjaro), really want to make it work more stable. I would also like to be able to reshuffle icon in the system tray. All the best, very much hope that the kde 5 will be better and better. Thank you!

Thank you for the last update! The taskbar is now working with all programs! But I've got 2 more bothersome problem. When choosing a window decoration, for example, karc, chrome or any other, typing kdesu dolphin (or any other program) - reset window decorations, nothing can close, minimize, maximize. Windows not reset with standard themes like org.kde.breeze. The second problem is that is not working right mouse button in the system tray at the GTK 3 applications such pamac. But when I click to log out, the screen goes blank, the icon becomes dark and the right button works!

Hi,
first of all a request: could you structure your text into paragraphs, please? It is much easier on the eye for potential readers. Secondly: I recall having a similar issue some months back. In my case I installed the kde-full package and bingo, everything was there again. Should that not work for you please let us know which distro you use. HTH!

Many thanks for bugfixes! The majority of problems left by itself after updating!
There was a problem with arbitrary closing of a window and different artifacts (a black window) of Qt Creator, the problem was solved by change of GLX with EGL. From it the most part of animations ceased to work, but these are trifles, the main thing unclear bugs disappeared. Also there was a problem with appearance of the applications launched by kdesu dolphin (for example). The problem was solved by separate setup of the subject kdesu systemsettings5. There was one problem - not an operating right click on gtk3 icon to applications in tray, for example pamac. I don't know why but if I select switching off of system (or logout) that the right button starts working! I use Antergos(Arch), kernel 4.3.3-2 . Lenovo Y580, Intel 3610qm (HD4000), Nvidia GTX 660m (bumblebee). Excuse for bad English. |

You're NOT running EGL compositing, but compositing was disabled altogether (because you're running on the nvidia chip which doesn't support EGL?)
The artifact shown is an uncleared X11 framebuffer. Since it occurs w/ chromium which uses OpenGL (GLX) to render its display, I assume your OpenGL installation (or bumblebee configuration) is borked. => Can you please open konsole, run "glxinfo" and paste the output (in "code" tags!) |

I returned back to glx, but still I hope for the best operation of egl. I very seldom use bumblebee. Over time, when nvidia will start supporting wayland, I plan to use nvidia prime. If that on a screen there is no bumblebee, I didn't use it from the moment of installation of system and I think that he is not related. Thanks.
I switch to egl:

I would like to note that there is a lot of mistakes when choosing EGL. When using GLX fewer errors, but they are all still there. On other notebook Dell 3721 with Intel HD4000 manjaro distribution(arch) same problem. I'm talking about kwin_x11[924]: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow) errors.
I have very rarely freezes laptop keyboard, a couple of seconds unfreeze, is behaving strangely. I'm not sure that this is a problem KDE, but in other de no such problem arises. |

Unrelated and meaningless. KWin tries to change attributes of windows which are already destroyed. Happens, because KWin deals with windows that it doesn't "own" - and we cannot grab the server for each and every interaction (we could, but you would not like that EGL is probably failing because of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356992 / https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356882 |

After the upgrade, there was the following problem with the system tray.

Manager
|
1) try restarting plasma
2) could be a corrupt tray, remove it and then add a new one 3) could be an app issue, try hiding all the apps and then showing them individually to see which app |
