Hi there,

to read GPU temperature from my AMD card I need to run a shell command, this produces this output:
Code: Select all
Default Adapter - AMD Radeon (TM) R7 360 Series
Sensor 0: Temperature - 53.00 C

I don´t need the 1st line, but how can I throw the 2nd line on to my desktop?
Is there a kind of empty plasmoid that can display arbitrary command output?

Thanx!

no idea about Radeon but you could try http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Th ... ent=170354

as for non-KDE solutions you could also place either gKrellm or Conky on your desktop

a bit more convoluted would be to run a script that output html (you could use text2html command) and then used the web slice widget to display it http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/We ... ent=169878
