Just upgraded to Plasma 5.6.1-1 from 5.5.5-1 (plasma-desktop, plasma-workspace, etc.). My default panel, with the KDE button and the system tray widget has shrunk to 1/4th the size of my screen and resists any attempt to make it go back to full width. Has anyone seen this issue and found a work-around?
I'm runnin Arch linux with XMonad as my WM

you may need to delete and re-create it

you might be able to edit the ~/.config/plasmashellrc file and change the max & min lengths of your panel but I've never tried and don't understand some of the panel parameters (ex I have an alignment = to 132).
if you want to try I suggest you try and find the plasma 5 panel parameter definitions and edit the file while plasmashell is stopped and then restart it after the changes made. you could also post a bug on bugs.kde.org if one doesn't already exist |

Killing plasmashell and restarting, as well as deleting and recreating the panel doesn't seem to work.
It does look like the bug mentioned above, will try downgrading all systems to 5.5 where it was working smoothly. |
