Hi,

in order to have 3d stereo rendering working, I have to disable composite into xorg.conf file (like stated here: http://www.schrodinger.com/kb/1287):

I have a Quadro 4000 and 3D is working fine with paraview started with '--stereo --stereo-type="Crystal Eyes"' options.

*but*, when I click on the "K" for the "application menu", all the screen goes blank. The display appear again if I blindly move and clic over any previous active windows.

The same thing occurs if I click on the configuration bars of the panel (bottom right).

I have tried disabling compositor in the "Display and Monitor" settings, but it doesn't correct this bug...

Any idea?

I just want to add that anyone can reproduce the problem as long as the "composite" extension is disabled in xorg.conf file.

This is not specific to 3D/stereoscopic display/card/configuration...
