Then, in System Monitor I can see:
plasmashell - up to 40% krunner - up to 15% I have to kill plasmashell, restart it from krunner, then kill krunner. Moreover, I had to disable krunner from autorun at login (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1173190#p1173190)... Now I'm forced to work in fear of accidentally use one of that text fields. Guake helps me, but both krunner or kickoff menu are very handy, isn't it? i7, 16G, nvidia 364.19-1, Arch is up to date.

I have read this topic, and tried to delete all widgets, but without effect. With new test user all works perfectly, BUT so much adjustments was made, I can not just kill myself and start from scratch))) Moreover, I want to find root of problem and solve it - to prevent of repeating in future! Who knows, how much frustrating deletes-and-start-from-scratch I must make until finally the cause is identified?? Or until forget and go to some other DE - I wouldn't like... I can't see (and yet I was looking for) a simple logical explanation, that is why it is BUG I think, and must catched and repaired.

I don't recall ever seeing anything that allows the analysis of individual widget activity - which would be a great separate thread or a wishlist on bugs.kde.org assuming it would be possible.
conversely you could, as your new user, add widgets until l you experience the problem these issues iirc are usually from monitoring widgets |

I tried that. There are really minimum set of widgets I have in my main user: I had monitoring widget and clocks (analog on desktop and fuzzy in tray), but deleted them to try. No effect. As my new user I also tried to play with different settings and will try more... UPD. By the way! I almost forgot. I also disabled baloo, because of its process baloo_file_extractor used permanently up to 20% CPU. Too many unwanted "disables" for one system...

CAUGHT!
Just disabled these and everything is alright:
I think this is because of WebDAV automounted at startup and/or thousands of emails in kmail. Thats why in test user was no problem. NOTE. When run krunner with LC_ALL=C option (and after all - simple "krunner" - in system locale) to knowing things in English, its search plugins are resetted (disabled) except Contacts. Then, after relogin, the correct settings are restored. Now this thread can marked [SOLVED]. I hope nothing bad will happen in this respect
