Hi

I've now compiled Frameworks/Plasma5 six times now, but cannot get it to start. I get a black screen and movable mouse pointer. I have to end the session from another runlevel. The compilation seems to run without errors just warnings from GCC6.1. Each time I start I am getting almost identical errors. Pushing the startup to a file I get:

I've tried the startup file, runPlasma5.sh, suggested by KDE support but no luck.

Just to say that I can start Konsole from Xterm(Xorg works fine). When I try to start plasmashell from Konsole I'm getting:

Sorry I can't help much, but I also cannot start konsole from the start menu, but can start it from xterm, with the message "kf5.kcoreaddons.kaboutdata: Could not initialize the equivalent properties of Q*Application: no instance (yet) existing." From the start menu, I get the bouncing icon for a few seconds, then nothing.

I'm mostly on frameworks 5.25.6 and plasma 5.7.5. (I'm on Gentoo, so it's all compiled from source, but I've got some specific apps and frameworks from slightly different versions.) In my case, I'm assuming I've got some version mismatch I haven't found yet.
