Problem with 2 monitor

Wed Jul 20, 2016 2:33 pm
Hello all

I am using Kubuntu 16.04 with latest updates ( specially plasma version: 4:5.5.5-0ubuntu1 ) on my notebook . its graphics chip is: "intel(0): Using Kernel Mode Setting driver: i915, version 1.6.0 20151010" as reported by X and its CPU is i5-2540M with internal graphics chip set.

My problem is: When i connect an external desktop monitor to my notebook the "Default panel" is moved to the new external monitor and the monitor of notebook itself does not have "Default panel" neither bottom nor top nor left nor right. >:(
The worst thing is that when i do right on the background of notebook desktop no any menu is displayed. Thus i can not add a new "Default panel" to the desktop of notebook itself and only the external monitor has "Default panel" unfortunately .
Even when i do right click on the background of external monitor the menu that must appear is displayed but not in correct way ( that menu is appeared in correct width but with height equal to height of monitor without any displaying of its options. ) ???

Of course a minor problem is: when i connect the external monitor all of my application's windows will move to external monitor and i must move them one by one to the notebook monitor ( primary monitor) . :-\
i tested all of things i could ( changing the primary display in the "Display and monitor" tool of system-setting ) .

Please help me to resolve those problems :'(
