A recent update (perhaps 5.7.1 -> 5.7.2?) changed the Task Manager plasmoid. I use Virtual Desktops heavily, with ten different desktops at a time. My Task Manager is set to only shows windows on the current desktop.

Previously, if there was a "Window Demanding Attention" it would appear in the Task Manager with a red border, even if it were on another Virtual Desktop. Now, it never appears, unless I am already in that Virtual Desktop.

Since I have various windows in different Virtual Desktops, this means that I miss many notifications. For example, Pidgin windows are always on my fourth Desktop. If I'm using Firefox on my third Desktop, and I get a pidgin message, I'd previously get a notification in the Task Manager that a Pidgin window wanted attention. Now, there is no notification at all, and I'm missing messages. Is there a way to get the previous behaviour back?

Arch Linux
Plasma 5.7.2

Thanks for that. I had trouble finding the right words to search for.
