Hi guys,
I didn't see this topic posted anywhere after searching - so I hope this is the first comment of it's kind.... New Here + New to bugfixes: I'm new to this forum and don't know much about bugs or bugfixes or even how to figure out what version of kde plasma 5, I have. I got plasma 5 through fc24. Issue I'm facing: I try going to the panel/taskbar controls, but when I try to click on one of the options on the "more settings..." submenu - the menu disappears. Details: The position of my taskbar is on the bottom of the screen. After I click "More Settings..." as in the picture below - if I move the mouse over the menu to say the "AutoHide" menu item (or any menu item there), the menu just disappears completely. Images: I've got the image of the menu here: http://www.promixdj.ca/T-images/MoreSet ... rPanel.png This is what I am left with as soon as the mouse goes over the popped up menu above: http://www.promixdj.ca/T-images/MoreSet ... Panel1.png I'm not sure what to make of it - it is the only menu I've seen that exhibits this behaviour. |

Hi Rog131,
Thank you for having posted a response. I ran kinfo as you said and got the following information about my system: Fedora 24 Software KDE Plasma Version: 5.7.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.25.0 Qt Version: 5.6.1 Kernel Version: 4.6.6-300.fc24.x86_64 OS Type: 64-bit Hardware Processors: 4 x Intel Core i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz Memory: 7.5 GiB of RAM I am not however, sure, if the issue is the bug you pointed out though... (it could be - I just can't say myself as I don't understand what was reported as a bug) - I saw a "networks" dialog box (I assume it is that as it appears to be written in German) which was greyed out in the image of the issue posted against the bug you mentioned. |
