Hi,
Yesterday I received an update on Arch Linux for KDE. Now the taskbar icons and text are small, it's terrible. I know I'm being rude, but whoever thought of this has no idea of how design works. The taskbar vertical space was very nicely occupied, and I could see icons and text with no visual effort. See this image and give it a zoom: https://i.imgur.com/ZbqPYQW.png There's no option to change text and icon size for that specifically taskbar option. I've been using KDE since late 2005 (KDE 3.5) and this is one of my biggest disappointments. How can I fix it? OS: Arch Linux Theme: Produkt Blue Regards, Amarildo |

The digital clock font size issue looks like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373396 and/or https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370156.
The latter one has a workaround patch, which you can easily apply yourself as the corresponding files are just normal text files in the installed system. Feel free to ask if you want to try it and need further help. The icons actually look too large to me in your first screen shot though (as there's nearly no margin), so that probably was a bug that has been fixed... |
