[SOLVED] Visual volume-change icon

Sun Nov 13, 2016 6:00 am
Hi,
when I change the volume I get a huge icon in the center of the screen with a loudspeaker and some arches which light up (or not) depending on the chosen volume.
Is there a way to not have this icon show up?
It is way too large, it is in the center of the screen and it doesn't add anything. How interesting is it to know how many arches are "on"?
When you do want to show the volume setting when it changes then please make a small notification area just above the loudspeaker in the system tray. But that would be a wish for a next version, now I just want to know: can I get rid of this huge loudspeaker blocking my view?

It is the plasma osd. Same kind of: disabling keyboard layout switching "pop-up globe" notifier? - viewtopic.php?f=67&t=131991

Thanks Rog131, this has helped me. Now it's gone. Thank you.
