I googled a lot to solve this issue, but I'm still stuck without solution.

When I start a KDE app like Choqok 1.6, xembedsniproxy correctly registers the event:

Registering "org.kde.StatusNotifierItem-26335-1/StatusNotifierItem" to system tray

but the systray doesn't show the Choqok icon. I can see "org.kde.StatusNotifierItem-26335-1/StatusNotifierItem" with qdbus. No error message.

The same happens with any other app. The only icons in my systray are those native to KDE (notification, battery, clipboard etc).

I'm using KDE frameworks 5.28, Plasma 5.8.4 and QT 5.7.0.

Any idea what's going on?

Forget it. It was my fault. I forgot to install libdbusmenu-qt. Now everything is perfect
