Hi,
i've just discovered that after restarting my laptop fan got noisy. Before i restart it i installed TLP and it was really silent with my CPU at 61-63 C degrees. Now my CPU runs at 78-81C degrees and running a top command gave me that: In settings->Search->File search i unchecked the FIle search option. What does it mean and why it uses 100% CPU. thx

I have this problem as well. Every time I restart my system (OpenSUSE Leap 42.2, Plasma 5.8.3, Frameworks 5.26.0) baloo_file_extractor gobbles up my entire system memory (several GiB) and grinds my system to a halt to the extent that the first thing I do when starting my system is always to kill it. I have tried leaving it alone to see if it can complete whatever it is trying to do, but it never seems to complete.
