Today my system wasn't able to start kde because of a wrong version of the libpulse0 package. In detail libpulse-mainloop-glib was 9.0 and libpulse0 was 9.99.

I understand, that there is a dependency between kde and Pulse Audio, but why does a bad audio server prevent kde from starting?
I wish that kde has a better fault tolerance.

But maybe there are important reasons for this behaviour that I don't see.
