Once I minimize a java applet (e.g Cloud sticky notes but any other actually), it goes in the system tray and I can't re-open it by clicking, double-clicking or right-clicking on it.
Is there any way to open it back ? I tried adding a system tray widget to openit from here as well as opening KSysGuard, right-clicking on the java applet and selecting "Show Application Window" but nothing happenned in both cases. I use Plasma 5.8.3. Thanks

It's getting more problematic for me as I use several java applications. I could really use some help on this.
Thanks again

Well, I moved to XFCE because of that. I wonder why I got no reply on this. Is java a taboo subject in KDE ?

No, why should it be? That's a known problem though. Java ignores the fake mouse clicks that Plasma (xembedsniproxy) sends for some reason. See https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362941 |

I don't know, maybe if java had a policy that didn't go along very well with free software, but I don't know enough about it. Apparently OpenJDK made java comply more with free software. |
