Look and feel exporer?

begonia Registered Member Posts 149 Karma 0 OS	Look and feel exporer? Thu Feb 02, 2017 11:09 am I was looking for a way to save my own desktop look and feel in plasma 5.9. In the announcement of plasma 5.9 (youtube) they were talking about an application to create you own look and feel and even upload it to the kde store. Where can I find this application?

Thu Feb 02, 2017 3:40 pm KDE System Settings > Workspace Theme > Desktop Theme > Help: Note Since Plasma 5.6 it is no longer possible to edit and customize individual components or items in a theme. The recommended tools to check, blend and test themes is the plasma-sdk package, the Theme Explorer specifically. Not as default as is a destructive action that will remove your current Desktop setup. The other component is a tiny little application shipped in the “Plasma Sdk” package that’s called lookandfeelexplorer. With this applciation you can: - Create a new Look and Feel theme - Edit the metadata and thumbnail of a locally created/installed theme - Create a default javascript desktop layout based upon your current Plasma setup - Create a defaults file based upon your current setup as well, such as color scheme and icon theme

I looked in muon but how is it called? Anyway, on your screenshot I notice a button "remove theme" and a button "install from file". Both these buttons are absent on my computer. I just did an other update/upgrade but it had no effect. Strange....
