where can i reconfigure the folder view applet that the program is lanuched instead of the editor with the corresponding desktop file? I did not find the option.

What version of KDE are you using?
What kind of file are you trying to reconfigure?
What is it currently doing, and what do you want/expect it to do?

FolderView should respect the general File Associations configured in System Settings -> File Associations. You might check in there for the file type you are dealing with to make sure that it has things set up the way you want.

With the plasma 5, when clicking a desktop file the default should be ( at here ) :
