Hello,
Appologize if the question has already been asked, but at least I haven't found anything relevant in google and on this forum: I use Arch Linux and Plasma 5. Everytime I lock or unlock the screen, I hear a sound played unless I mute my speakers. Is it somehow possible to disable these specific sounds? |

Do you have the notification sound enabled at 'Screen Saver - locked/unlocked' ?
KDE System Settings > Notifications > Event source: Screen Saver Direct: kcmshell5 kcmnotify and Event source: Screen Saver |

Aah, right. Thanks a lot! I somehow overlooked this screen. Also, I've just figured out that the sound that was played is not actually caused by lock and unlock events, but by the power state change. The reason is that I heard it mostly when opened my laptop lid. Most often it meant that before the sleep my laptop was connected to power supply.
Sorry, for the dumb question Thanks again |
