I've recently upgraded to Plasma 5.8.6, and am trying to develop a theme.

I have read the tutorial at https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tu ... emeDetails and it continues to make reference to the hint-tile-center option, which I remember using in 4.x.

However, no matter what I try I cannot get it to work in either the general background or the panel-background.

I have placed it with all the other hints, just below hint-stretch-borders.

Could anyone tell me if this option has been removed (in which case the tutorial needs updating). or if it is still supposed to work, give some guidance.
