Hi,
i have KDE 5.9.x and ubuntu 17.04. I have a bash script that runs 3 conky scripts. for an unknown reason the bash script is not run when KDE starts. i went to System settings > Workspace > Startup and shutdown > autostart and i tried both : program and script running none of them works for program i did: Application > command > sh /home/alain/bin/conky_start.sh is executable and for script: Add script (not as symblink) and at startup it should run.... in terminal, script that runs those conky scripts works perfectly. so where is the problem ? thx

I change start_conky.sh for:
#!/bin/bash sleep 6 conky -c $HOME/.Conky/future_conky/conkyrc #### Add comment for next line (NECESSARY): #exit 0 after this i goto -> System Settings -> autostart -> Script File and add start_conky.sh after this set for "pre KDE startup" done. |
