Hi, after running Bleachbit - won't do that again!!!! - I seem to have trashed my plasma 5 desktop.

See images - the desktops are odd!

The desktop is offset to the right on the primary monitor - the rest is black, including VGA1 to the left. I can move the mouse round the black area, but cannot right click for desktop menus etc...

This is the primary monitor:

and fiddling with monitor settings gives this:

I'm running Linux mint 18.2.

I have two monitors, VGA1 second monitor on left, primary HDMI monitor on right.

I have to fiddle with monitor settings to try and get a full screen, but then these are not saved - and each time I relogin, the screen goes back to the odd views above.

My .local/share/kscreen files seem to be OK:

It must be caused by some corrupt desktop/folder view settings somewhere else -- help!!!!

Thanks :)

Have you tried making a new user profile to see if the problem persists ?
