In Kubuntu 17.04 I'm trying to modify default plasma panel. For now, I'm doing it with a bash script using sed in plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc

Now I'd like to do it using javascript API (references https://userbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Administration/PlasmaDesktopScripting and https://userbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Administration/PlasmaTwoDesktopScripting). I've been able to change some configurations, like favorites in kickoff menu, but I don't find a way to modify visibility of icons in systemtray: the panel for org.kde.plasma.private.systemtray doesn't appear in panelIds nor panels()

The example https://cgit.kde.org/kdeexamples.git/tree/plasma/javascript/plasma-shell-scripting/removeSystrayApplet.js is very old.

So, question: is it possible to modify systemtray with javascript API in current version of plasmashell?

Thanks in advance
