Hi. My panel is not responding when I loose access to mounted NFS or when the NFS server is so bussy that it cannot respond right away (for example when I do large copies utilizing the NFS server network bandwidth.

While anything on the panel is not responsive, I can still switch between windows with ALT + TAB and work in the running programs without any problem.

Is this a bug?

KDE Plasma Version: 5.10.5
KDE Framework Version: 5.37.0
Qt Version: 5.9.1
Debian Sid

Thanks J

In addition to the problem discussed in the RH bug report, I configured auto umount using fstab NFS option x-systemd.idle-timeout=1min to try to avoid NFS issues when I am not using it. However plasmashell is mounting the NFS back. I am not sure why. I dont use the resources when I see plasmashell mouting it in syslog.

I also disable Baloo.

Any idea what might be trying access the NFS resources?
