Not sure if this is the correct subforum (could be kwin, could be customization).
I've been having major issues trying to find where or how I can turn down or at least disable sounds on information and warning dialog popups generated by applications such as Konqueror or system settings. They are much too loud in comparison with everything else, and do not react to the notifications volume slider, nor do they fall under any of the notifications or actions downdowns. Kmix did not provide a solution either. Running KDE 5.40 with Plasma 5.11.3 |

systemsettings - multimedia - audio volume - notification sounds
And bingo, turn them down HTH.

As stated, notification sounds volume slider has no effect on these popup warning sounds. I currently have it on mute, but changing the slider also has no effect. |

Oh, shame. Works on my system.
Which distro do you have? Sounds like a bug... Edit: I'm still on Plasma 5.10.5-2 for what it's worth.
