What I want to do is put an icon in the systray that I can click on to bring up a small menu, I would also like to change the icon on demand. I am looking for something like kdialog but can also control the systray. I read into it a bit and the closest thing I have found is YAD https://sourceforge.net/projects/yad-dialog/

Is there something KDE specific that exists for this? Even if it can't bring up a menu as long as it can launch a bash script that uses kdialog would suffice.
