Just today my "Display and Monitor" part of system settings crashes. When running from the command line I see this output:

Does anyone know what is going on here?

I'm using KDE Neon with the latest updates.

I'm getting the same issue. kscreen is installed and is the latest version.

I thought it might have something to do with having Synergy 2 Pro installed, as I use my KDE machine's keyboard/mouse to control my work laptop as well. I haven't been able to figure out how to kill Synergy properly in order to test, however.

I've got my monitors stacked vertically; on reboot they revert to horizontal configuration, and I have to use the Nvidia Settings panel to set them back to vertical again. KDE settings crashes every time I try to start the display settings.

This also appears to be killing KDED, as I am no longer able to access background service management in System Settings.

I updated the libkf5screen7 package with this morning's update payload via Discover, and this seems to be fixed now. Display settings work as expected, and KDED runs normally.
