plasmashell crashes when started

Wed Jul 11, 2018 6:38 pm
Hi all,

I am using the newest plasma5 on arch and ran into a little problem:
plasmashell crashes when started.

It tells me this before coredump starts:
Failed to create wl_display (No such file or directory)
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: wayland-org.kde.kwin.qpa, dxcb, eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vnc, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-egl, wayland-xcomposite-glx, xcb.

Full journalctl: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/KCjg37SrPx/

This is the Xorg session, the wayland session actually is starting fine, no problems there.

Really hope you have some idea what might be going on.
Thank you all!
Jakob
