Hi everybody,
I recently started using Linux (KDE Plasma 5.8.6/ Debian) and there are keyboard shortcuts that I used on my previous OS that I would like to reproduce, namely alt + {i,j,k,l} shortcuts to simulate arrow keys. So I defined them in "System Settings/Workspace/Shortcuts/Custom Shortcuts". It generally works very well (especially on Kate, Notepadqq, Firefox...). However, it turns out that for other applications such as Terminator, this does not work at all. I suspect a conflict between global shortcuts and application-related shortcuts. However, in the case of Terminator, I made sure to remove all shortcuts using the alt key. In any case, do you have any idea on how I could solve this ? Thanks |
