upon opening the settings with the following command "kcmshell5 kcm_pulseaudio" in a terminal and when I press the front left button in the speaker placement testing, I am getting a debug ouput in terminal which is shown in the 4th screenshot in the following link.

Note: In the debug output, the number at the end of the message "Unknown PCM 0" varies I guess upon each boot or after attaching a device, I got "Unknown PCM 45" when I first tested.


This seems to be already observed earlier, the following is the original bug report

The solution is also given in the above bug report, which I have tested and I confirm It works. This has to be taken care by kde neon distro.
Since this is not a kde bug/issue rather a distro's I have filed a separate bug report on kde neon, the following is the same
