Plasma has a new testing release out with a final release due in three weeks. We need your help in testing it and reporting problems.
KDE neon Developer Git-Stable Edition now has Plasma 5.15 beta and can be used for testing. You can either download an ISO and install it or run it on a virtual machine. https://neon.kde.org/download Or you can run the Docker image which should work on any Linux distro. https://community.kde.org/Neon/Docker Please have a look over the new features and give them a try https://www.kde.org/announcements/plasma-5.14.90.php You can report success or failure here or directly on the bug tracker at https://bugs.kde.org |

Edit: Bug was already fixed. It was fixed after Neon built the ISO.
There's a bug when changing Wallpaper Plugin. Left Clicking to open the ComboBox's drop down menu, then left clicking a different plugin will not switch the GUI. Scrolling over the ComboBox works though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S3_OsyJkiw There was a Kirigami.FormLayout + QtQuickControl2 patch that changed QtControls1.ComboBox.onCurrentIndexChanged to QtControls2.ComboBox.onActivated which might be the underlying cause. I made a new bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403334 |

Note that you don't specifically need Neon for testing the Plasma beta: other distributions (Arch comes to mind, others to follow) can be used as well.

If you install a deck of cards in Discover, in Adding Applications> Kcardtheme, after you restart Discover and return to Kcardtheme, there are no more cards than the one installed. Another problem: the icons on the desktop if they shrink, they are always the same width, they told me for the text, but on the whole they always occupy the same space as it gets smaller and then you cancel the utility of shrinking! adjust the character space separately so that the user can choose the width of the desktop icons!

In Desktop Session Login and Logout, the Default Leave Option is ignored. I have it set to Turn Off Computer but when I right-click on the desktop and select Leave, Logout is always selected. Regardless of what I set it to, Logout is always selected.

Bluetooth system tray notification says "No adapters available" when the bluetooth adapter is available and working.
Tested on virtualbox with kde neon git stable distro. Screenshots showing the bug: https://imgur.com/a/ZJzXiDl The third screenshot in the above link shows the list of usb devices attached and the second device in the list is a usb bluetooth dongle. Two devices was connected to it and was working. One was a bluetooth keyboard and another was a bluetooth headset. |

I can't find anything called kcardtheme in Discover I'm afraid. Keeping text width even with small icons is a new feature and not a bug. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379432 |

Thanks that seems like a long standing problem as the tooltip says "only works with KDM" and we haven't used KDM for years. I've filed a bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403466 |

I guess this is a limitation of Virtualbox. My laptop can see Bluetooth devices fine through Plasma 5.15 while the same computer running a Virtualbox of KDE neon dev stable gets the same result as you. |

I tested kde 5.14.90 on a liveusb and the bluetooth notification is displaying the connected bluetooth devices properly. Seems this happens only when using virtualbox. |

Tested 5.14.90 on a kde neon git stable build
"Speaker Placement and Testing" in Audio volume settings(kcm_pulseaudio) does not work. when the front left button is clicked there is no audio. upon opening the settings with the following command "kcmshell5 kcm_pulseaudio" in a terminal and when I press the front left button in the speaker placement testing, I am getting a debug ouput in terminal which is shown in the 4th screenshot in the following link. https://imgur.com/a/RwzNpFA Note: In the debug output, the number at the end of the message "Unknown PCM 0" varies I guess upon each boot or after attaching a device, I got "Unknown PCM 45" when I first tested. |

[Edit] This is fixed in latte-dock 0.8.5.
Clicking on an application icon in the latte plasmoid when there are two or more instances of that application running does nothing. The expected behaviour and that in 5.14.5 was to present a window for each instance for you to select one. My test was to have two instances of konsole and two spreadsheets open in libreoffice calc together with single instances of other applications. please add linux-lowlatency support for 5.15!
neon is one of the best platforms for linux audio production so that includes a low-latency kernel. also the entire system (performance) benefits from the LT kernel! |

The Thermal Monitor plasmoid temperatures for Cores and Temperature Zones are not loading on login (plasma). Need to right-click and choose Reload Temperature Sources for them to load. Temperature source for SDD loads correctly.
