Hello everyone,
while setting up my first Kubuntu (18.04) I noticed that I can't disable the clock on the lock screen. Is there no way to do this, or did I simply overlook it? I am not opposed to delving into arcane config files to fix this. Greetings, Arnad |

In order to disable the clock, you need to edit qml files.
Just simply delete the clock component in: /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.kde.breeze.desktop/contents/lockscreen/LockScreenUi.qml It works for me. Remember to backup. You can download my edited qml file in: https://github.com/XipingHu/Remove-Cloc ... Lockscreen and replace LockScreenUi.qml |

Hi
After reading the config properly, there is a button for the design of the lock-screen nowadays, that leads into a subdialog with the clock removal as first checkbox. So there is UI for it now.
