Hi,
When I try to logon KDE 5, I have a black screen and a cursor, I still can launch anything I want using ALT+F2, and I still can have Yakuake with F12, I don't know if it's because of an update, I tried to logon from SDDM and manually from a TTY terminal, with no difference, I tried to start manually Plasmashell from a terminal (both "plasmashell" ans "kstart5 plasmashell", but no difference...), and it complained with 2 lines :
Here is further information when launched from a debugger :
I don't really understand what happened, I found nothing that could help on Internet, I tried to create a dummy user account to check if the issue is caused by a bad file in .config, .local, .cache, etc., but I have the same problem... I really don't know what to do now, so I'd be glad to get some help. Here are my specs : - Motherboard Asus Maximus Extreme - CPU : Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 - 12GB RAM - GPU : Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti - OS: Artix Linux |

Which exact plasma version is this about?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

How about upgrading to 19.10? You would get a newer Plasma version. 19.04 is not LTS, so no reason not to upgrade.
