We have autostart scripts that execute on each Plasma login. Similarly, is it possible to specify a script to be executed on Plasma logout, esp on shutdown? As per this one can detect incoming ssh connections. If there is such a connection, I want shutdown to be cancelled.

The behaviour I want is seen if you have an unsaved file open in Kate or another KDE app and it asks you whether to save/discard/cancel upon logout, and if you hit “cancel” it says “logout canceled by Kate”.

Similarly how can I cancel logout from a script and how can I specify that script to be run at each logout? Does this feature exist?

Thanks!
