KDE 5.17.5, Framework 5.66.0, Qt 5.13.2, Kernel 5.0.0-37 generic. Full screen. No problem.
KDE 5.17.5, Framework 5.66.0, Qt 5.13.2, Kernel 5.3.0-26 generic. Not full screen. Only maybe 2/3 or 3/4 of screen used. Am not sure but presume the problem started after last update using pkcon. Updates are so regular I very rarely take much notice of the content. |

Different kernel, so maybe some module not correctly loaded? That's just a wild guess, else I would always look at the graphic drivers, these are very often the most likely issue, especially if you have a NVIDIA card...
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
