Wayland scroll direction

Wed Feb 19, 2020 1:24 pm
Hi,

I would just like to check here if I a bug I am experiencing is just me...

In a Plasma Wayland session the scroll direction for plasma widgets such as the Wifi plasmoid and modern (Kirigami) application such as Discover is always opposite to other applications such as Dolphin, Libreoffice and Chrome.

I am using Plasma 5.18.1 on Arch Linux. This does not happen under X11.

Thanks,

P

That sounds like a bug. There's a universal setting for that in System Settings > Input Devices > Mouse > Reverse scroll direction, which should affect all apps/widgets equally.

Yes I've tried that. But whether I choose reverse scroll direction or not, the direction for widgets vs applications is always opposite.
