I've been using KDE for a while now and I love it. I have a single issue that bugs me. At home, I connect external monitor my laptop via HDMI, an I also use it as a primary sound output. When monitor goes to suspend mode, sound output reverts to analog (I am guessing this is unavoidable, I don't know how HDMI works). The problem is, when the monitor resumes, sound output is not switched back to HDMI automatically. Is there a way I can tell KDE to make HDMI the primary sound output and use it whenever it is available?
