I have checked color settings and tried to find if there was a grayscale setting. I am still fairly new to KDE so I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue. Applications started by systemd before login maintain color until they are refreshed like scrolling workspaces.

Some more information about your exact Plasma version and distribution as well as Global Theme and Colour scheme in use would be helpful...
