Hello!

Recently I started running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with KDE Plasma 5 and I have noticed some little bug with running spotify (simply by clicking its icon) from icons-only task manager located in default panel. On launch the icon moves from fixed position to the very end of collections of apps in task manager. When I close the spotify app it returns to old, fixed position. It is pretty weird, because it only happens with spotify; no other apps jump to the right-end of task manager on launch (so I guess it is probably some spotify issue). Maybe you had some similar problem and could help me with that.

This is likely Spotify related, not Plasma. Is this really a problem for you?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

I totally understand the frustration of dealing with weird bugs in apps. I've had my own share of issues with Spotify in the past. Have you contacted their customer support team for help with this bug? It might be worth a shot.On a different note, have you tried adding your own music to your Spotify library? It is helpful to have all of my music in one place, and it's easy to do by simply dragging and dropping the files into the app. If you're looking to increase the number of plays on your Spotify tracks, you might also want to check out this link: https://streamingfamous.com/buy-spotify-plays/
