Hi, I've been using KDE for a while now and I found it to be a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I've run into a problem with the widgets. The widgets that I've deleted reappear on startup. Not just the desktop ones, but the panel ones as well.
I am using Manjaro KDE. Thank you! |

Which exact Plasma version?
Do you save the session on logout? Which panel?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Here's my sys info that I got from the info app:
Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 Kernel Version: 5.4.33-1-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics Memory: 3.3 GiB of RAM I have it configured to save the session on logout, but I know it's saving the layout because when I add new widgets they stay on login. I have a custom panel that I've configured to be like the macOS top bar. Thank you for the speedy response! Edit: Correction, I have it configured to not save the session. |

Sweet! I found the solution. I was force shutting my laptop down instead of shutting it down via software. I guess it didn't get to save the layout.
Apologies for wasting your time, Mamarok. Thank you! |

I had the same problem and fixed by going to /home/yourname/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc and here you have all your desktop applets .
Ex .remove [Containments][1][Applets][33] |

This is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417114, which will be fixed in the next KDE Frameworks release
