Desktop Toolbox Missing

Sun Apr 26, 2020 1:53 pm
Hi,

The hamburger menu in the upper-right corner of my desktop is missing. I would right-click on the desktop and go to Configure Desktop → Tweaks → Show the desktop toolbox, but the Tweaks section is missing, as well. Here is some information for my system:
Code: Select all
$ kf5-config --version
Qt: 5.14.2
KDE Frameworks: 5.69.0
kf5-config: 1.0
$ plasmashell --version
plasmashell 5.18.4
$ uname -a
Linux server 4.19.97-gentoo #10 SMP Sat Apr 25 02:56:33 MDT 2020 x86_64 AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight-Core Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
$ cat /etc/gentoo-release
Gentoo Base System release 2.7

The problem started when I waited too long to update my OS. I had to remove and re-install a bunch of packages for KDE to get the updates to install.

Thanks,

Rich

That option has been gone since at least when Plasma 5.18 was released.

It is mentioned in the release:
https://kde.org/announcements/plasma-5.18.0
