Double click does not maximize the window

kde-deshmukh Registered Member Posts 184 Karma 0	Double click does not maximize the window Mon Apr 27, 2020 2:36 pm Running KDE Plasma 5.18.4. When I double click on a window, it does not maximize. It appears as if it does not recognize the double click. It appears as if it is moving the window. Alt-F2 -> Mouse does not have anything for double click. -- Manjaro KDE. Kernel 4.19.244-1-MANJARO. 64-bit. Plasma 5.24.5. KDE Frameworks 5.94.0. Qt 5.15.4. 8GB RAM and more than 100GB free on the hard disk.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11 FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

cipricuscprq Registered Member Posts 23 Karma 0	Re: Double click does not maximize the window Fri Mar 26, 2021 6:19 pm I had exactly the same problem in Kubuntu 20.04, Plasma 5.18.5 (I mean It appears as if it is moving the window : that is the cross sign that appears when long clicking to move the window appeared). Of course, under Settings, Windows management, Titlebar actions "Double click" was set to Maximize. Fixed it like this: In Settings, Windows management, Titlebar actions, I have set Left click to "Do nothing" for both active and inactive, and then restarted kwin and plasma. Then, changed back the settings to Left click: Raise for active and Activate and raise for inactive.
