Desktop Left Click Menu MIssing

Thu May 14, 2020 3:03 pm
Hello All,

I recently upgraded to Kubuntu 20.04 (from 18.04) and I have run into one weird behavior.

When I right click on the desktop I get the action I have selected in my settings (the application menu), but when I right click on the desktop nothing happens. It doesn't matter which option I pick the right button has no effect.

If I switch the layout to folder view, both buttons work as expected.

Is there a fix for this that I am missing, or should I report this as a bug?

That doesn't make much sense, did you mean that the right click should show the application menu but it doesn't?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
