Hello. I use kde plasma 5 with nixos.
I've made a software that show a timelapse of r/place. This video loop every 44 hour, so I can't export it to a video without eating an enormous amonth of my SSD. I want to know (if this is possible) : How can I put this window in background (it automatically scale to the window size), and disable wallpaper rendering by plasma (while still having the plasmashell for bar and desktop icon). If this helpful, this program is written in rust, and use the piston library. |

Hi!
Perhaps you can use a existing Plugin like Video Background or any other Plasma Wallpaper Plugins as a starting point or write one from scratch in C++/QML. The KDE git repo contains picture of the day, haenau and hunyango you could use as reference objects. |
