Hello,

I am running Manjaro Linux KDE 5.18.5 (KDE Frameworks Version 5.70.0) on a Lenovo desktop with one monitor.

After a reboot, I am no longer able to right click on my desktop. It is nearly completely black. I can see a sliver of my desktop at the top, which I can right click on but otherwise my clicks are not being recognized.

Additionally, when I open things on the taskbar, they are overlapping the taskbar and are not being positioned properly (such as the calendar appearing on the opposite side of the screen where the clock is located).

I did follow https://superuser.com/questions/946206/no-taskbar-and-cant-right-click-desktop by recreating the plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file, but that yielded the same results but removed any customizations I had.

Has anyone seen this issue before?

Bump.

Here's another screenshot of me clicking the time in the bottom right corner. Not too sure what is going on here. I have tried moving the taskbar edge from left/right/top/bottom and all taskbar widgets are appearing like this.

Did you try booting into a previous kernel? This has been reported with kernels every now and then recently

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
