Since I upgraded to Plasma version 5.19.4, the "Switch user" button disappeared. In previous versions it was there like on this screenshot: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File ... screen.png
But nothing appears on my lock screen, hence others are unable to start a new session from the lock screen. The problem happens on two Archlinux instances, both upgraded at the same level. I could not find any similar problem by googling, and my logs don't reveal anything. Can you please guide me in finding a solution? |

If this is not Arch specific please file a bug report here: https://bugs.kde.org The forum is the wrong place for bug reports.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

It is systemd, not KDE specific. I started this thread to get help on the inspection to find the problem and in the meanwhile the source was found in the archlinux forums. That is why I linked the bug report as an explanation. I will mark this thread [SOLVED] once the bug is solved. |

Same issue. The switch user button that was on the lock screen is missing in both 5.19 and 5.20. Manjaro, 5.20.2, Frameworks 5.75, QT 5.15.1
