So I live in a city that is in bbc's and wetter.com's database, but the search function in the widget configuration can't seem to find it. Other cities do indeed function properly, New York for instance works fine. I tried every widget that can display weather, same results.

OS: Manjaro 20.2, freshly installed yesterday
KDE 5.76.0 / Plasma 5.20.3

Maybe it is further down the list? Mine is shown buried relatively low, despite me entering the town name. Sometimes adding more information (State, country) is needed to get it towards the top of the search results.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

You should file a bug, apparently the search has a problem indeed: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?prod ... nt=Weather
