Hi,
When I log in to KDE, the desktop crashes (black screen), can move the cursor only, and I get back to the login screen. Using cinnamon works well. OS: Arch Linux Journalctl shows me this, but I have no idea what's wrong.

The first thing you should check is if you haven't inadvertently removed some system components, apparently your Qt installation doesn't start correctly and several basic services can't be started. That usually happens when you have either missing components or a badly configured system. On my system I would run an update and upgrade to the latest packages and if that doesn't help, reconfigure the installed applications. Since this is done differently on different distributions, this really should be taken to you distro.
And please, be a tad more detailed about the exact Plasma version you use and what you changed from the default installation...
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
