Hi,
I have an opensuse 15.2 KDE desktop which runs 24/7 but the screen turns on every time my cat jumps on the table (: That's why I would like to turn on the screen only on keyboard interaction but not on mouse move. I couldn't find any help until now to do so. Is there a way to disable screen unlock on mouse move? Thanks Marc |

How about turning your mouse upside down? Or turning your mouse off if it is a wireless one? I usually turn the mouse off when I don't use it...
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Hi Mamarok,
Thanks for your reply It's connected via cable so turning it off is not an option. Yes turning it up-side-down is what I'm doing currently but it's not a real solution more an ugly workaround |

You can always lock the screen, that should also prevent a wake-up
