This page says that Arch hasn't added the trace symbols, yet that feature request has been fixed since 2014 |

Not fixed, just closed. AFAIK Arch still doesn't ship debugging symbol packages like other distros do, you still have to recompile an application with debugging enabled to get a meaningful backtrace.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Shame, would make debugging applications a lot easier.
I would like to enable it on all my packages but can't find a way to just 'apply it to all packages at install'. Only manually |
