Hello,
I have a machine with a head (currently) that I run both xfce 4 and KDE 5 on w/o issue. I'm trying to get VNC working so I can go headless. I'm using tightVNC 1:1.3.9-9+deb10u1 running on Proxmox VE 6.3-3 (which is mostly Debian 10). The remote machine is a Win 10 Pro running tightVNC as well. VNC works fine with xfce 4. VNC with KDE 5, I get a grey screen with a arrow cursor (as opposed to an X cursor). Any assistance would be appriciated. I much prefer KDE do the vastly superior applications. ~/.vnc/xstartup looks like:
Here is the log file from tightVNC:

I double checked that the file "xstartup" is executable. So that's not the issue.
It looks like KCrash is called a few times in the log file:
I checked that the files exist in their expected locations. Can anyone give me some pointers as to why KDE appears to be crashing? |
